Due to her profound deafness, she relies on feeling the vibrations of the instruments and the music passing through her body. She can sense the sound passing through her fingertips when playing the xylophone and feel the resonances flowing into her body by leaning against drums. She removes her shoes on a wooden platform to let the vibrations pass through her bare feet. This heightened sensory perception allows her to experience music in a unique and profound way, enabling her to express it beautifully despite her deafness.
